Support
One address, a diagnostics zip that never contains what you said, and a troubleshooting page organised by what you saw.
Before you write
Most problems have a page: troubleshooting is organised by symptom (“MicJot didn't type anything”, “Nothing happens when I hold Fn”, “Microphone is connecting”…), and it opens with the guarantee that every dictation is kept somewhere: a pending file, History or the clipboard.
Support today, in the private beta
Write to [email protected]. The owner answers personally; no response time is promised during the beta. Say what you expected, what happened, which app you were dictating into, and attach the diagnostics zip:
- In MicJot, choose Save Diagnostics… from the app menu, the status-bar menu, the About window or Settings → General.
- It writes
MicJot-Diagnostics-<timestamp>.zipto your Downloads folder. Attach that file.
The zip contains the event log of the last 7 days (timings, states, counts, error messages, the names of apps you dictated into), crash and hang reports, and a settings summary. It never contains what you said or typed, your API keys, your history, your dictionary or your snippets. Nothing is uploaded by the app; you decide whether to send it. Details on the diagnostics page.

Account recovery, once accounts exist
If you lose access to the email address of a paid account, sign in with a linked Google or Apple identity. Otherwise recovery is handled by hand against proof of purchase: the Paddle transaction id and the card's last four digits. Dictation on your Mac is never affected by an account problem.
Known issues
The rule-based formatter's edge cases are listed on the writing page; what changed in each release is on the changelog.
